Skidding to a stop in a residential area, Eobard checks a device to confirm the current date. "Right on target." He said as he looks to see a group of bewildered thugs hanging out nearby. A cruel smirk crosses his lips as he starts to walk towards them, causing the men to attempt to flee.

"Heh. Time to cause some trouble. Hopefully they'll send him after me." He says, disappearing in a bolt of electricity as he gives chase to the thugs.

Homelander followed him, his eyes aglow as he fired several short bursts of crimson beams, only hitting the afterimage of where this man in yellow was moments ago.

"Fucker-"

The lasers narrowly miss as he dodges, turning his head to look up at his pursuer and raising a middle finger.

"Try a little harder, Boy Scout!"

Flying right toward the man with a burst of speed, firing another burst of lasers from his eyes at where he hoped to trip the speedster up ahead

The few few lasers are dodged with ease, but he gets tripped up by the last shot. Eobard tumbles at a breakneck speed into a wall, causing it to collapse on top of him.

Slowly climbing from the debris, red irises glow as he grits his teeth. "I already hate this guy..."

"Well, well. Another little shitbag speedster..." Homelander landing with a thud, the asphalt beneath him cracking. The blonde glaring at the other man.

"And what are you? The Pussy Patriot?" Reverse Flash says with a smirk, brushing some dust from his shoulder. "Let me guess. Justice League is busy, so you're the lapdog the government sent?"

Hie blue eyes rolling at the insult. "Clever. The Justice League wishes I was on their payroll" he remarked. "No one sent me. I 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙙 you and the racket you were making. I thought you guys were light on your feet?"

He raises an eyebrow. This guy wasn't with the League? Then, who was he...?

"Only when we wanna be." He replied, giving an annoyed scoff. "What about you? Superheroes are supposed to minimize collateral damage. You were shooting at me like we weren't in a populated city."

A small ghost of a smirk crossed his face.
"An...unfortunate set of casualties. It happens" he gave a fairly casual shrug.

A faint smirk in return. "Ah, I see. You aren't high on the totem pole of heroes, so you don't give a fuck? Interesting..."

Walking closer, Reverse Flash would stop just before he passed the other man.

"What do you go by, anyway?"

An almost wrinkle of his nose. "Maybe. I wouldn't necessarily say that. 𝙊𝙪𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙙"

The blonde kept the other man's gaze until Reverse Flash stepped past, causing his cape to flutter "Homelander"

"Homelander. Explains the cape."

He liked 'The Pussy Patriot' better, though...

"So, is this the part where you try to take me in? Cause I'll tell you right now, I don't do stripes."

An eye roll.

"Perhaps" he tilted his head with narrowed eyes. "Can't just have you racing off and killing anyone else in the blink of an eye, can we?"

"We can. I bet it would look good to the lapdogs I'm guessing you work for. America seems to be your schtick." Giving the man a pat on the shoulder. "But let's face it. They'll never respect you because they're afraid of you. I bet they've already noticed the damage you caused while chasing me."

A sinister chuckle.

"Reverse Flash. Guess you can call me the opposite of the main one."

He scowls. Dammit. He was right...

"Reverse Flash?" Lips curve into a smirk. 𝖭𝗈𝗐 𝗍𝗁𝖺𝗍'𝗌 𝖿𝗎𝖼𝗄𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗅𝖺𝗆𝖾...

"Maybe for five seconds. Then you'll go right back to being nothing."

The hand on Homelander's shoulder shifts so that Reverse Flash's arm was wrapped around the other hero's shoulders.

"Think about it... If you bring me in, I'm just gonna break out and go back to killing. So why not turn a blind eye and let me take Flash and the Justice League down? That would make your bosses turn to you for the main job."

His jaw clenched slightly. He wasn't...he was far from nothing. Although Vought had a fucked up way of showing appreciation for the beast they made.

Homelander stared ahead. Blue eyes seeming to consider his offer. 𝙄𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙚𝙧...
The Seven's competition was the Justice League, after all...so why not?

"How do I know you won't fuck me over in the long run, eh?" Now turning his head to meet the man's gaze

"Because I only want Barry. Why would I offer to take out the rest of the League otherwise? As a favor for you."

Meeting Homelander's gaze, Eobard would trail a finger along the hero's jawline.

"C'mon. Let me go free, I do my job, then we act like nothing happened."

Homelander's body tensed as he almost let out a groan at the other man's touch. His jaw clenched as he exhaled through his nose...slowly.

"Fine" he managed after a moment. "Go on before the news crews get on this mess. I can handle the press no problem"

Noticing Homelander's tension, Reverse Flash gives a devious grin. The finger trails from the hero's jawline to his chest.

"I knew you had a brain in there somewhere. I'll be in touch, Homelander. Hopefully sooner, rather than later."

A wink, before the man zooms off in a yellow streak, leaving a gust of wind in his wake.

Whatever breath he was holding, he released as Reverse Flash darted away, making his cape ripple.
Blue eyes glanced around at the rubble and debris from their brief encounter before.

It was a brief matter of time later and the news crews descended. In that time, Homelander would act as if he was looking for any survivors in a faux seriousness that he had perfected over the years.

Running up a tall building, Reverse Flash stops at the top to watch the commotion down below. He crosses his arms with an evil smirk.

"A hero who not only doesn't give a damn about the damage he causes, but also secretly has a bad attitude?"

He laughs. "Homelander... I like you. But to hold up my end of the deal, I'm gonna need some help."

He runs down the building again. He has an idea...

He managed to smooth over some of the commotion with reporters.

"Well-" taking a breath with his usual charming smile. "There was a dastardly villain in the midst here, however...as you can see, they're gone!" Homelander bringing his hands up to calm the reporters that began to barrage him with questions.
"Ah, I'm unsure as to whom is was, but rest assured, they won't be back for a good long while. Not so long as I'm here"

As Homelander eases the media, Reverse Flash has already zoomed towards the edge of town. He kills bargains for a motel room to set up as a safe house, and immediately starts investigating the current activities of the Justice League and how they connect to the government.

He also looks into Homelander, discovering the man's pristine reputation and public perception.

"Some boy scout... Hm."

Eventually the crowds of media wild ebb and he could manage to fly off.

"𝘾𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙨..." he snarled to himself as he was up in the air, flying back toward his penthouse. His thoughts on the speedster he'd let go. He's sure there would be a reprimand from those that watched him closest. And he didn't care. He was used to scolding and whatever bullshit that they'd have him do now to make amends.
