Skidding to a stop in a residential area, Eobard checks a device to confirm the current date. "Right on target." He said as he looks to see a group of bewildered thugs hanging out nearby. A cruel smirk crosses his lips as he starts to walk towards them, causing the men to attempt to flee.

"Heh. Time to cause some trouble. Hopefully they'll send him after me." He says, disappearing in a bolt of electricity as he gives chase to the thugs.

He managed to smooth over some of the commotion with reporters.

"Well-" taking a breath with his usual charming smile. "There was a dastardly villain in the midst here, however...as you can see, they're gone!" Homelander bringing his hands up to calm the reporters that began to barrage him with questions.
"Ah, I'm unsure as to whom is was, but rest assured, they won't be back for a good long while. Not so long as I'm here"

As Homelander eases the media, Reverse Flash has already zoomed towards the edge of town. He kills bargains for a motel room to set up as a safe house, and immediately starts investigating the current activities of the Justice League and how they connect to the government.

He also looks into Homelander, discovering the man's pristine reputation and public perception.

"Some boy scout... Hm."

Eventually the crowds of media wild ebb and he could manage to fly off.

"𝘾𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙨..." he snarled to himself as he was up in the air, flying back toward his penthouse. His thoughts on the speedster he'd let go. He's sure there would be a reprimand from those that watched him closest. And he didn't care. He was used to scolding and whatever bullshit that they'd have him do now to make amends.

When Homelander arrived at the penthouse, he'd find a 'guest' already there waiting for him. Reverse Flash was laying on the sofa, boots raised on the arm rest with his hands behind his head. He turns slightly to glance at the other man, giving him a callous grin.

"About time you got back. Media circus took you that long to deal with?"

The blonde paused, eyes narrowing some. "How the hell-" an almost scoff. He cooled his rising temper.
"You know what they say about those that fail...they plan to fail"

"Who failed? These things take time, you know. Even for someone as fast as me."

Tapping his own temple with a finger.

"Didn't take long for me to figure out your whole situation. It's easy to see why you lash out."
